I was one of 50 artists contacted by Advanced Photoshop Magazine to submit something that would look great on a cover of their magazine. I’ve posted snippets from the magazine below since you can’t read it from the image. I encourage you all to go out to Barnes and Noble and pick up a copy if you are interested in Photoshop at all. This magazine has helped me a great deal over the years. This issue isn’t in stores here yet because it is printed in England. We recieve the issues about a month later from when they are released in England.

50 Covers by 50 Artists

We challenged 50 artists to provide us with one image that they thought would look great on our cover. We then created a cover out of each image and asked the artists to explain why they thought their image would work on the cover.

I submitted this image (featured on the bottom row far left in the article and 2nd row far left on the cover) with the following statement:

“Abstract art has been around for so long, yet it is a new realm when it comes to digital. The use of colours and endless shapes make this form of digital art both breathtaking and unique. To feature abstract art on your cover would share the options available to Photoshop artists.”

Thank you to Advanced Photoshop Magazine for featuring my work on your cover as well as a blurb inside. Being a Photoshop artist has been very rewarding and being featured as a digital artist is a great honor.
